Stanley H. Peavyhouse

Stanley H. Peavyhouse was born in Fentress County in 1895. He is a son of A. A. Peavyhouse and Susan (Reagan) Peavyhouse. He attended the rural schools, the Jamestown High School and the Stockton Valley Baptist Institute. Began teaching at sixteen at Broad Door and taught two years there. He received a certificate to teach at the age of fourteen. He is now in Carson and Newman College at Jefferson City, Tenn.
