William Earnest Mars and Rosa Holder
William Earnest Mars was born April 21, 1874. He came from Nashville,

had a half sister, and thought her name was Florence.
For a time he lived with a man named Jim Logan, then he lived with Andy and Eliza Holder.
Andy Holder took a fever, and his wife had to take care of him, so Andy's brother Ben and
his wife took Will to live with them. He lived with them until he was 13 years old, then
he left and was on his own.
