Young Allen
  LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF YOUNG ALLEN:

In the name of God, Amen, I, YOUNG ALLEN of the County of Wake and State of North Carolina, considering the uncertainty of this moral life and being of sound mind and perfect memory blessed be the Almighty God for the same to make this my last will and testament in the following form and manner: this is to say, first I loan to my beloved wife Phebe Allen, four Negroes, on man by the name of Jim, three women by the names of Cin, Nance and Nan and then to be equally divided between James Allen, Miles Allen and Young Alen being lawful sons and my daughter Elizabeth Rust to their own proper use. I also loan my beloved wife, Phebe Allen, where I now live, one tract of land lying on the Neuse River for her natural life. Second I give by five sons, viz: John Allen, Henry Allen, Reynold Allen, Nicholas L. Allen and Solomon Allen and my beloved daughter Sally Winston, wife of Isaac Winston, six Negroes, viz: Prudence, Grace, Ben, Stephen, George and Judy to be equally divided at my death. I also give to my beloved sons Nicholas Allen and Solomon Allen one bed and furniture, one cow and calf apiece and the balance of my property after my just debts are paid to be equally divided between my sons: John Allen, Henry Allen, Reynold Allen, Young Allen, Nicholas Allen and Solomon Allen and my daughter Sally Winston, wife of Isaac Winston, consisting of all my furniture, stocks of all kinds, my notes and moneys to their own proper use. I hereby appoint sole executor of this my last will and testament, John Allen and Nicholas Allen, hereby revoking former wills made by me.

In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this the tenth day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Five.
